How it is formed: A rock that develops in granite, Unakite is usually found in pebble form and a perfect mix of minerals like green epidote, pink orthoclase feldspar, and occasionally clear Quartz to form its unique color and design. Primarily found in the United States and named after its discovery in the Unaka Mountains of North Carolina, Unakite is also found in the pebbles and rocks of Lake Superior and Virginia where the glacial waters brought them to the shore. Unakite can also be found in Brazil, China, Sierra Leone, and South Africa.

Color: green with pink or coral inclusions

Compound: No specific compound, due to Unikite being a mixture of minerals and actually comes from a rock (granite) so is classified as a rock.
